The Leapband is a big hit everywhere it goes – including in our Toyologist Stacey’s household! This review is part of the Toyologist programme, where a team of hand-selected reviewers test toys with their children for both entertaining and useful insight by parents, for parents.

As soon as the latest goodies from Toys ‘R’ Us Toyologist Team arrived, Josie was so excited to try this one out. The Leap Frog Leap Band in pink.

The Leap Band is an excellent way of getting kids active, whilst having lots of fun. Josie has recently suffered a nasty sickness bug and cold and this is the first time for a few days she was jumping around. Also lots of kids nowadays sit on video games or tablets, this is a great fun way to still have digital play whilst on the move.

We of course due to our blog name, chose a Unicorn. Josie was very excited to find the more activities you do the more Joules Energy Gems you earn to look after your pet. Josie is 6 years old and found the device fine to work, she found herself the games you can also play and the stopwatch to time yourself on your own activities.

Some of the activities Josie had was wriggle like a worm -swim like your in sticky honey, jump 3 times, hop on one leg, wriggle your fingers, be like your favourite superhero.

The device took me about 8 minutes to set up as we had to plug into the computer first and register the product, but as soon as this was done she was playing straightaway. You could do with a wall charger though i found as I am not always on the laptop to charge the unit.
Overall this was an excellent product and a BIG thumbs up in our household.
